Who we are
Hydro Hounds is a canine rehabilitation and mobility center that has been established by Emma, a highly skilled local veterinary nurse with over six years of clinical experience. In addition to her veterinary nursing qualification, Emma has pursued further education in the field of physical therapy by completing a specialized course from the Australian College of Vet Nursing. She also holds certification in Canine Hydrotherapy from K9 Swim in NSW.
Emma has a deep passion for providing rehabilitation services to canines to improve their mobility and well-being. Having witnessed the absence of such services in the veterinary industry in FNQ, Emma was determined to bring a solution to the Cairns community. With her unwavering dedication and commitment to her profession, Hydro Hounds was born.
